Yiwu Sourcing Agent

A registered sourcing agent with its own staff and warehouse in Yiwu. Market search, negotiation, inspection, consolidation and shipping, on a per-order commission.

Hiring a Yiwu sourcing agent means hiring a person who is physically in Yiwu, walks the market on your behalf, sits across the table from suppliers, and stays there after you have paid and gone home. That last part matters more than the first. Anyone can walk a market. The value of a Yiwu China sourcing agent shows up three weeks later, when a supplier is late, a carton count is short, or the goods that arrive at the warehouse do not match the sample you approved.

We are a registered company in China, based in Yiwu, Zhejiang, with our own staff on the ground and our own warehouse and consolidation space. This page explains what we actually do, what you need to bring to the table, and where our service stops.

What the work looks like

A typical engagement runs like this. You tell us what you want to buy, in as much detail as you have. We search the market and our supplier contacts, send you options with prices and photos, and collect samples where it makes sense. You choose. We negotiate the final price and terms, place the order in writing, and pay the supplier through proper channels. While the goods are in production or being prepared, we chase progress. When they arrive at our warehouse we check them, consolidate shipments from different suppliers into one, and arrange freight to your country.

Not every client needs all of that. Some already have suppliers and only want checking and consolidation. Some only want the search. The scope is agreed per order, and so is the fee.

What you decide, and what we decide

You decide what to buy, at what target price, and what quality is acceptable. Those are commercial decisions and they are yours. We give you our honest read on whether a price is realistic or a target quality is achievable at that price, but we do not make the call for you.

We decide the practical things: which suppliers to shortlist, how to negotiate, how to sequence collection and inspection, how to pack a mixed shipment so it survives the trip. That is what you are paying a China sourcing agent in Yiwu to be good at.

How we charge

Our fee is a commission on the order value, tiered roughly from 4% to 10% depending on service level and order size, and quoted per order before you commit. A large repeat order with a known supplier sits at the low end. A small first order that needs a full market search, sampling, and inspection sits higher. Freight, samples, and any third party costs are separate and passed through at cost.

Where this service is not the right fit

We are straight about this because it saves everyone time.

  • If you need one sample of one item, the commission model barely makes sense. Ask anyway and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.
  • Yiwu is strongest in general merchandise: household goods, toys, accessories, stationery, hardware, festive items and the like. For heavy machinery or highly technical products, other regions of China are usually the better hunting ground, and we will say so.
  • We do not provide customs, tax or legal advice for your country. We prepare goods and documents properly on the China side; import rules on your side are yours to confirm.
  • We cannot promise a specific outcome on price or quality. We can show you what the market offers and manage the process carefully. Suppliers, freight and production have their own realities.

Why the ground presence matters

Sourcing from Yiwu remotely, through screenshots and chat apps, works right up until something goes wrong. A booth may be a reseller rather than the maker. A sample may be built better than the production run. A supplier who is slow to answer messages tends to move faster when someone is standing in front of them. Our staff visit suppliers, sit in on loading, and open cartons in our own warehouse before anything ships. You do not have to fly here for any of it, though you are welcome to, and we will walk the market with you if you do.

Do I need to visit Yiwu to work with you?

No. Most of the work can be done remotely: we send photos, videos, samples and reports, and you approve each step from home. Visiting helps on a first large order, but it is not required.

What is your minimum order?

We do not publish a fixed minimum. Very small orders can cost more in fees and freight than they are worth, and we will tell you if that is the case. Send us the details and we will give you a straight answer.

Can you work with suppliers I have already found?

Yes. We can verify them, negotiate, place and follow the order, inspect the goods and consolidate them with anything else you buy.

How do I know you are not marking up the goods?

Our fee is a commission quoted openly per order. You see supplier prices and you see our commission as a separate line. If a structure is not transparent enough for you to audit, do not accept it, from us or anyone.
